Samuel Eto'o prediction "nearly" becoming true

The Cameroonian ex-football star, who starred at big clubs like Barça or Inter Milan, made a statement which at first may sound awkward, but this is nearly coming true.

We find ourselves in a World Cup period, though we are seemingly close to Christmas and the New Year. For anyone who hasn't got the context about this, the FIFA World Cup™ is the major football competition in the world which occurs every four years in different countries. In this edition, the host country is Qatar.

Throughout the tournament there have been various scandals, such as the Qatari censoring any exhibition of the LGTBIQ+ community or show of support to this collective, between others; however, this isn't today's business.

What will be treated today is the actual outcome of Samuel Eto'o's premonition in respective of the World Cup final

In a tournament with powerhouse names such as Argentina, France, England, Spain, the Netherlands or Brazil, Eto'o stunned many people with his declarations at the early stages of the World Cup, in which he predicted that Cameroon would win the World Cup in a final with Morocco, and that all five African countries present in the competition would make it through the qualifying stage.

As mentioned before, this was said in the first moments of the cup, and it aroused all kinds of reactions on the Internet.
